Jaws for jaw crushers

Generally used in stone quarries, ballasting or demolition, jaw crushers are the optimal solution for primary crushing, reducing the diameter of the stone by 3 to 4 times, if they are correctly adapted to the application in which they work. In order to optimize the crushing process with jaws, it is important to take into account some very important aspects: the correct adaptation of the teeth of the jaws according to the working environment, the correct choice of the alloy and the monitoring of the process of crushing during the first days of using the new jaws.

Taking into account that only approximately 30-40% of the total weight of a jaw is used in the breaking process, it is important to choose the best alloy to obtain the lowest possible cost per ton of crushed stone. Quarry jaws – Heavy-Duty

  • Generally recommended in primary crushing in quarries where the stone grain is high or in demolitions;
  • designed to withstand high impact forces very well;
  • Straight tooth profile – results in a larger contact surface with the material and a higher life span – 30-50% longer compared to standard jaws;
  • Manganese steel castings with a concentration of 18%Mn or 21%Mn;

Standard/corrugated jaws

  • This tooth profile is most often found in common applications such as: sand and gravel pits, road construction, quarries – where the stone is not abrasive and the impact forces are not very high;
  • The best compromise between lifetime and resulting granulation;
  • Castings out of 14%Mn, 18%Mn or 21%Mn;
  • Short lead time – stock for over 150 models of jaw crushers;

Ballast jaws – small teeth

  • Most often used in gravel pits
  • Get higher yield in crushing stone of small grains;
  • Optimize productivity;
  • Increase the resulting small material fraction;
